24-25 Scholarships

Scholarships listed below are those that we are aware of at this time.  The date listed before the title is the due date.

LOCAL

Anita F Boorda Scholarship for the Performing Arts - will provide up to $2,500 to high school seniors who plan to pursue a degree in Performing Arts, Music, Theatre, Dance or Production.  Completing this one application will provide students access to 20+ scholarship opportunities. This scholarship is renewable for up to four years. Due Feb 15.

Nancy Jaynes Memorial Scholarship - $2,500 scholarship for seniors with a parent who is battling breast cancer or who has lost a parent to breast cancer.  This scholarship is in honor of a teacher from Plymouth who lost her battle with breast cancer and wanted to raise awareness.  Due date Jan 27.

4H Accomplishment Scholarship - $1,000 scholarship awarded based on the demonstration of life skills development in animal science, animal production, civic engagement, communications, engineering and technological science, healthy, living, food and nutrition science, leadership development and plant and environmental science.  $2,000 scholarship for premier achievement, premier civic engagement and premier leadership.  For grades 10-12.  Must have multiple years of involvement in 4H.  Can pick up the application in guidance or click the link.  Applications due Jan 25.

4H Senior Scholarship - Available to 4-H members in their senior year of high school. Selection is based on the member’s overall 4-H achievement. Awards range from $250-$1,000.  Due Jan 25.

Hoosier Hampshire Swine Scholarship - Up to 5 scholarships in the amount of $1,000.00 each but no more than half the applicants will be awarded every year to junior swine exhibitors (unless there is not a qualified applicant) which have shown a Hampshire pig at least 5 years at the Indiana State Fair during their 4-H or FFA career and who wish to continue their education after graduation from High School.  Applicants must be of good character and in good standing with the Hoosier Hampshire Swine Association and the 4-H/FFA Organizations. Applications are due June 30. 

Beacon Credit Union Scholarship - scholarship for current credit union members. There are 5 scholarships for $2500 awarded.

Rochester Lions Club Scholarship - scholarship for current college students who graduated from Rochester High School.  Open to those who chose to pursue a trade such as welding, cosmetology, barbering, mechanical, etc.  $500 scholarships will be awarded.  Due Dec 20th.  May pick up application at the guidance office at the school or print it off of our guidance information tab on this website.

Woodlawn Health Career Scholarship - The Woodlawn Hospital Auxiliary offers scholarships to Fulton County high school students pursuing healthcare vocations at an accredited college.  Applications and a high school transcript should be returned to Woodlawn Health by April 1.


STATE/NATIONAL

Farm Credit Mid-America Customer Scholarship - This scholarship is for students with a parent or grandparent who is a current Farm Credit Mid-America customer. $1,500 scholarships are available for individuals pursuing agricultural or rural community related careers.  Due Jan 15.

Amazon Future Engineer Scholarship - You can receive a scholarship of up to $40,000 (up to $10,000/year) towards an undergraduate degree in engineering or computer science and an offer to complete a summer internship at Amazon! Must be planning to attain a bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or other computer science related field of study from an accredited 4-year college or from a 2-year college with the intent to transfer to a 4-year college. Must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.3 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent). Due Dec 19.

Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship -  provides high-achieving high school and college students interested in pursuing a career in education the opportunity to earn a renewable scholarship of up to $10,000 each year for four academic years. In exchange, students agree to teach for five years at an eligible Indiana school or repay the corresponding, prorated amount of the scholarship. Must meet one of the three academic requirements: Rank in the top 20% of high school graduating class; or have a top 20% ACT or SAT score; or have a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of at least a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.  Apply through http://scholartrack.in.gov/  1. Log in to ScholarTrack  2. Click “State Aid Resources”  3. Select “Apply for State Aid”  4. Scroll down and click “Financial Aid for Future Educators”  5. Select “Next Generation Hoosier Educators Scholarship”  6. Click “Apply”  Due Jan 31.

Mensa Foundation Scholarship - Applicants are required to submit an essay to be considered.  Grades, academic program and/or financial need are not included in the final determination of scholarship recipients.  You do not need to be a member of Mensa to apply.  Open Sept 15 through Jan 15.

Knights of Pythias Scholarship - Enter on the website.  Two essays, transcript and email are required.  Winners will be posted on the Knights of Pythias website. There are 30- $1,000 scholarships being given.  If you are not a member of the Knights of Pythias, you must submit using the public version of the application found in the link.  Questions should go to Denny Adams at 765-686-1735 or indianaglkop@att.net.  Deadline is Jan 31.  

Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship - for seniors who are planning careers in government service. A one page essay is required. In the past, winners have had their expenses paid for (transportation, food and housing) in Pennsylvania for the weekend to attend the Scholarship Awards Ceremony. Scholarships range from $500 to $5,000. Due date Jan 15, 2025.

Indiana Elks Vocational Grant - For seniors looking at a vocational program that is two years or less.  Applications must be filed with a local Elks Lodge near the applicant's legal residence. Due date Feb 3, 2025.

Ducks Unlimited Scholarship - for high school seniors passionate about conservation, environmental science and making a difference in their community.  Scholarships range from $500-$10,000.  Opens Oct 15th, due March 1.

The Coolidge Scholarship - annually awarded, full-ride, presidential scholarship that covers a student’s tuition, room, board, and expenses for four years of undergraduate study. This one-of-a-kind scholarship may be used at any accredited college or university in the U.S. This is for JUNIORS to apply for and requires academic excellence, interest in public policy, demonstration of humility and service to their community.  The applicant will be required to read President Coolidge's Autobiography and a few other readings. 100 of top applicants from the nation will be invited to participate in the Senators program which includes an all-expenses-paid summit gathering and a $1000 scholarship.  There is only 1 full ride scholarship. Due Dec 11.

SCHOLARSHIPS FROM COLLEGES

Denison University (Ohio) - Midwest Scholarship Denison is supporting students from the neighboring states of Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, and West Virginia by offering the Midwest Scholarship. This scholarship awards admitted students $25,000 per year for four years at Denison. Incoming first-year students from these states simply need to submit their application for admission by December 1. There is no separate scholarship application, no application fee, and no supplemental essay. However, we strongly encourage students to visit campus and interview.

Eureka College (Illinois) - Ronald Reagan Leadership Program - offers 4 year full tuition scholarships if selected for the program

Indiana State University- Networks and Gongaware Scholarship - $39,000 total over 4 years for business majors or those majoring in insurance or risk management.  Due dates- must enroll with Indiana State by Dec 1 and application is due Dec 15.  Freshman Scholarship Page - this leads to the scholarships available to incoming freshman

IU Bloomington- Cox Scholarship- scholars are provided part-time jobs and receive a scholarship package will total the official cost of attendance (in conjuction with any other insitutional, federal or state funding), requirements for the scholarship are that you are enrolled full time, demonstrate financial need by filling out the FAFSA, and demonstrate that you are a hard worker along with a solid academic record. First Nations Scholarship Program- supports incoming undergraduate Native students, covers the direct cost of attendance for Indiana University Bloomington, plus books and supplies for up to four years. Lauren Robel Bicentennial Scholarship- provides students living in 25 select counties with $2,500 per year renewable for four years, scholarship is automatically awarded to students upon admission to IU Bloomington.

IU Kokomo- Group Scholars Program Students who are accepted into the Groups Scholars program will take two courses during Summer Session II. Tuition and book fees for these courses will be covered upon a student’s acceptance into the Groups program. Groups Scholars will receive a laptop, as well as $500 in scholarships toward their Fall 2025 and Spring 2026 tuition.

Manchester University- Many scholarships are offered; academic scholarship amounts have increased this year!  A scholarship is awarded just for visiting their campus.  To view the many scholarships Manchester has to offer go to Undergraduate Scholarships for Manchester.

Purdue University Fort Wayne Summit Scholars Program a full-ride scholarship program that includes two premier competitive, merit-based scholarships. Requirements: GPA of 3.95 or higher and 90th percentile in class, or SAT 1380 or higher, or ACT 29 or higher.  You will also participate in the Virtual Summit Scholars Competition. Due date Dec 1.

Purdue University (West Lafayette/Indianapolis) Boiler Gold Grant - Undergraduate Indiana residents at the West Lafayette campus, and incoming resident freshmen students at Purdue Indianapolis, that are enrolled full-time (12 credit hours or more) and are pursuing their first bachelor’s degree are eligible. Qualifying students must either be Federal Pell Grant eligible or have a family-adjusted gross income (AGI) of $80,000 or less on the FAFSA. The Boiler Gold Grant covers tuition, fees and books after the total amount of any gift aid (Pell grant, scholarships, awards) is subtracted. Any remaining balance is covered by the Boiler Gold Grant for up to 8 semesters. Housing, dining and course fees are not included in this grant. 

Purdue University Laurenz Greene Memorial 4H Horticulture Schoalrship - Available to 4-H members entering Purdue University Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture pursuing an undergraduate degree in Horticulture, Turf Management and Science, Sustainable Food and Farming Systems or Landscape Architecture. Applicants must have studied at least four years horticulture and/or plant science related subject matter/project through Indiana 4-H Youth Development. Selection is based on the member’s overall 4-H achievement. $1,000 scholarship. Due Jan 25. Farmhouse Fraternity 4H Achievement Scholarship - This scholarship is sponsored by The Purdue FarmHouse Foundation of FarmHouse Fraternity and is restricted to an Indiana 4-H member who will be a freshman at Purdue University. For any young male 4-H member residing in Indiana who is (or will be) enrolled as a Freshman at Purdue University. $1,000 scholarshp.  Due May 1. Indiana 4H Club Scholarship - Any young person in Indiana who is a senior in high school or who is currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution and will be transferring to Purdue University in the fall semester. Has maintained 4-H club membership and has been a member in good standing for at least four years. Must be enrolled any major course of study in the College of Agriculture or one of following majors in the College of Health and Human Sciences; Apparel Design and Technology, Dietetics, Developmental and Family Science, Early Childhood Education and Exceptional Needs, Family and Consumer Sciences Education, Environmental Health Science, Financial Counseling and Planning, Foods and Nutrition, Hospitality and Tourism Management, Human Services, Nutrition Science, Retail Management, or Selling and Sales Management. Must have your FAFSA application on file. Purdue Division of Financial Aid recommends filing by February 02, 2025.   Application for this scholarship is due Jan 25.

MISC SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES

  • American Indian College Fund – Provides Native American students with scholarships and financial support for the nation’s 33 accredited tribal colleges and universities.
  • American Indian Graduate Center & AIGCS - The largest scholarship providers to Native students in the United States, awarding $15 million in scholarships annually and more than $200 million since inception. For almost 50 years, AIGC has funded students pursing undergraduate, graduate, and professional degrees in any field of study at any accredited institution of choice, working with over 500 tribes in all 50 states.
  • Asian & Pacific Islander American Scholarship Fund – The nation’s largest non-profit organization devoted to providing college scholarships for Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders (AAPI).
  • Automotive Women's Alliance Foundation Scholarship - Scholarships are awarded to female with North American citizenship and a passion for a career or advancement in the automotive, mobility and its related industries. To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants should be already accepted to or enrolled in an accredited collegiate program, with a 3.0 or higher GPA. Applications accepted throughout the year.
  • Aya Healthcare Future Travel Nurse Scholarship - Whether you’re already attending nursing school or were just accepted, we encourage you to apply for the Aya Healthcare Future Travel Nurse Scholarship. Each year, up to ten (10) $1,000 scholarships will be awarded to nursing students who have a 3.0 gpa or higher, are involved in extracurricular organizations and are passionate about patient care.
  • Cappex – A free website where you can learn which colleges want you, before you apply and learn about more than $11 billion in merit aid scholarships.
  • CashCourse – Information that helps college students stay financially informed.
  • Chegg – A place to connect with scholarships and learn about colleges.
  • The College Board Opportunity Scholarships - The program guides juniors and seniors through the college planning process and offers the chance to earn scholarships, from $500 to $40,000, for every action that students complete.
  • Common App Scholarship - $2000 scholarship- requirements are to be in grade 11 or 12, be attending a college or university no later than October 1, 2025, have achieved a gpa of 2.5 or greater during the last academic year, and answer one essay prompt.  Deadline November 30, 2024.
  • Common Knowledge Scholarship Foundation – Educational and scholarship opportunities for students of all levels.
  • Dell Scholars Program – Recognizes academic potential and determination in students that have a definite need for financial assistance.
  • Fastweb – Create a profile and let fastweb do the research on scholarships, internships colleges and more for you.
  • Going Merry - A free, one-stop scholarships platform. It matches you with scholarships and then helps you apply directly. It has both local and national scholarships and you can bulk-apply for multiple scholarships, which share similar essay prompts, using one application.
  • Goizueta Legacy Scholarship - Provides scholarships for the children of Coca-Cola employees.
  • HS Finder (Hispanic Scholarship Fund) – Scholarship information for Latino students.
  • Jack Kent Cooke Foundation - A national scholarship provider dedicated to advancing the education of promising students who have financial need. Open to high-achieving high school seniors who seek to attend and graduate from some of the nation's best four-year college and universities.
  • KnowHow2GO – Complete information on college prep, whether in middle school or seniors.
  • National Space Club and Foundation Keynote Scholar Application - Provided to a high school senior, undergraduate or graduate student with definite plans to pursue a career in the Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) fields. Since 2013, The National Space Club and Foundation has offered the opportunity for a student to give the keynote address at the National Space Club and Foundation's annual Goddard Memorial Dinner, one of the space industry's most prestigious gatherings. In addition to speaking at the Goddard Memorial Dinner, the individual selected will also receive a scholarship, in the amount of $20,000.
  • The NSHSS Foundation - The NSHSS Foundation fosters the growth of students pursuing the STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math), business, economics, public policy, and environmental science and sustainability fields. The NSHSS Foundation connects young scholars with additional opportunities to advance their education, personal growth and career interests.
  • Peerlift - Proven scholarships, internships, summer programs, and more gathered by fellow students like you. (Founded by a team of 2017 Coca-Cola Scholars!) Learn more about the creation of Peerlift.
  • The Platta Law Firm Students with Disabilities Scholarship - open to high-achieving students who have a medical record of disability and is enrolled in high school or an accredited college or university.
  • Reagan Foundation Scholarships - Scholarship opportunities for outstanding student leaders.
  • Scholar Snapp - A free, simple to use data standard that allows students to reuse their application information - including contact information, essays, transcripts, etc. - from one scholarship application to another thereby streamlining the college scholarship application process.
  • Scholarships.com– A free college scholarship search and financial aid information.
  • Scholarship America – Provides information and resources for your scholarship search.

  • Thurgood Marshall College Fund – Provides scholarships, programmatic and capacity building support to the 47 public Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs).
  • UNCF – Awards 10,000 students each year through 400 scholarship and internship programs so that students from low- and moderate-income families can afford college tuition, books and room and board.
